Foam and Fork proudly sits on the Marsascala seafront with its funky and colourful interior soaking up the coastal vibe. This is no ordinary tapas stop, it is clear that the small and dedicated team are aiming to offer top notch service in addition to top notch food.
While they have an excellent and interesting focus on vegan and vegetarian eats, they also can adapt their dishes for mixed meals to cater for a mixed group. They highly recommend luring any meat eating friends or partners to the table with their legendary ribs! They have an extensive and impressive range of organic milks for the vegan or lactose intolerant coffee drinkers, and a selection of gluten free IPAs and breads as well.
This is an intimate set up, and the menu itself reflects the intimate approach to the food. Homemade is a key focus, and the majority of produce is sourced from a local grower. Fresh, healthy, local and a little spicy is the theme, and all day brunch is available to the late starters on weekends. Hurray!
Incorporating sustainable operation into the outlet is important for the team. They have already switched to paper straws and condiments are sourced in bulk. They will be trialling some compostable options for takeaway containers and offering up bring your container incentives to the conscious consumer soon. Waste separation is already in place, and water refills are on the way. The receipt system is paperless, and specials and drink menus are written on boards and mirrors. Did we mention they also offer home made teas?? Oh and there is bio-wine!
